Depression Treatment Protocol
We offer a treatment protocol to change your brain activity and break the cycle. This depression treatment protocol was developed over the thousands of patients we've treated here, combining the clinical experience of all the physicians, the most recent research in our field and the historical knowledge of Chinese medicine. Having had first hand experience with depression, this is also very personal to some of our staff.
Our services are holistic. Each treatment plan is individually tailored to each patient to improve their condition by treating not just symptoms but also underlying imbalances. We use acupuncture and (optional) custom-made Chinese herbal medicine formulas as our main tools. Our tools offer a natural way of fighting and managing depression.
Why Use Acupuncture to Treat Depression?
Most patients experience significant relief from our services. Benefits Include:
-
Balanced Mood & Emotions
-
Decreased Inflammation & Cortisol (Stress) Levels
-
Regulated Nervous System
-
Our Protocol Costs Half The Cost Of A Typical TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) Protocol For Comparable Clinical Results With Fewer Office Visits
-
Personalized Treatment To Address Your Body's Imbalances That Cause Depression, Reducing The Likelihood Of It Coming Back
-
Our Services Can Be Used Alone Or Combined With Other Therapies For Even Greater Benefit
Our Protocol
-
Acupuncture Treatments 3 Times Per Week for 6 Weeks (18 Total Treatments)

Included (optional) Custom-made Chinese Herbal Prescriptions in a granule format
After the treatment protocol is completed, patients either go into remission or have the occasional maintenance treatment. The cost of a protocol treatment series is 2,500. Insurance in the U.S. does not cover acupuncture for depression, however it may be allowed by your HSA/FSA.
