We’re looking for an additional acupuncturist to join our team at Winding River Medicine! It is an hourly position with consistent pay as a W-2 employee. This is not a contract, independent contractor or room rental position. This position is open to recent graduates.

 

Do you want to make a difference in patients’ lives? We are looking for a kind, empathetic person who is a good listener. The ideal candidate is someone with high emotional intelligence, empathy and maturity. 

 

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with our team are essential.

 

Part-Time Schedule Available

 

Part-Time (~16-32 hours/week).

 

We have full-time receptionist coverage to provide administrative support. All the training and support you need to succeed and grow as an acupuncturist will be provided. 

 

About Winding River Medicine: 

We are committed to bringing our patients the highest quality care through Chinese Medicine, seeing a maximum of two patients per hour. Providing the best customer service is a valuable part of that experience. We make custom granule formulas for many of our patients and have a full pharmacy. The practice is in its 9th year of business. Our suite contains 6 treatment rooms and in-house laundry, which the receptionists manage. 

 

Qualifications:

Specialization or interest in treating pain conditions is preferred.

 

Licensed to practice acupuncture and Chinese medicine in the state of California.

 

Vaccination, including one or more booster shots, for COVID-19 required.

 

Strong computer and tablet literacy required, as all our records are electronic.

 

Physically and mentally capable of treating at least 7 patients per day.  

 

Ability to communicate with others in different ways.

 

Able to meld with a tightly-knit team.

 

Compensation and Benefits: 

Compensation at a competitive hourly rate. Annual total compensation equivalent to approximately $53,000-$57,000 for full-time. Part-time positions are still compensated at the same hourly rate. 

 

Paid vacation and paid sick leave. 

 

Reimbursement for CA state board licensing fees.

 

Reimbursement for continuing education courses required to maintain CA license. 

 

Malpractice coverage.
